Greatests Hits: autoeditions for the embodiment rhythms

At this moment in my research, activities are taking place in workspaces that adjust the distance between the club, electronic music festivals, and daytime programming within these musical contexts. One of these relevant programs was the workshop at Mostra’M, the cycle of workshops and talks of Festival Mostra Barcelona, in its 2024 edition.

Through the catalogue of performative editions, las lindas pobres explores resources of any kind—many, few, whatever is available. In its lines, thought and creation make use of collective and experimental self-publishing as an alternative way of resonating within the dance space.

Starting from sonic experiences with ambient, techno, cosmic techno, ambient techno, or broken rhythms, in this workshop I aim to generate a dubbing-like working time with interconnected textures and rhythms, in order to reflect on the politics of editing electronic music from a DIY and collaborative practice.
